Words are projected from inside out to be seen after dark and in the inside of the building to be seen during the day. Three variations of the installation are located in different spaces, each complete in itself and forming a single multi-channel image. words for Bangalore is a play with words, with the translation of these words, and the varying rhythms of parallel perception. 80 words in 3 languages – Kannada, English and german – are seen next to each other. The words have been chosen for their sound and not for the meaning they create in the specific chronology chosen. The words create a field of associations, and each viewer finds his or her own links. Discrepancies in meaning between the languages are intended.
